Woman Guilty of Skydiving Murder (VIDEO)

A terrifying murder case has finally been resolved, as a woman in Belgium was convicted of sabotaging another woman's parachute, so that she died while they were skydiving.

The murderer set up the other woman to die because they were romantic rivals in a love triangle. The woman denies doing this horible deed, saying "I am really innocent. I can only repeat it. From the beginning, I was found guilty for something horrible which I really did not commit."

But her lawyers could not convince the jury to agree, and not the court is sending her to receive the harsh punishment that surely comes with such a murder.

A Belgian schoolteacher was found guilty Wednesday of killing her romantic rival by sabotaging her parachute in a skydiving love triangle. Els Clottemans, 26, sat stony-faced as the jury's verdict was read out following a trial that has gripped the country. Clottemans, who claimed her innocence again before the verdict, faces between three years to life in prison. The sentence will be decided on Thursday. The victim's husband and two teenage children, Karol and Vincent, hugged each other as the verdict was read while Clottemans' mother wept on the opposite side of the court, according to Belga news agency.
