Paul McCartney's Superbowl Halftime Performance

I'm sure we all had our knives drawn, waiting to hate on Paul's Superbowl appearance. And on principle I still think it was a lame idea, that should have been interrupted by an army of media terrorists storming the stage to flash their ninja-star laden mammaries at us.
But honestly, don't lie, his set was WAY above average for this kinda thing. After so many years of frantic pop-star blandapaloozas, seeing a simple, competent presentation of well-written songs seemed almost revolutionary.

Music today is pretty much over produced, copy-cat crap!!
Paul performed his Beatle & solo songs "back to basics"! Boring? I didn't hear anything...I felt it!!! John would be proud! :)

Paul Mccartney's performance was amazing! I'm 21 years old, and I have only started to actually enjoy beatles songs recently... and I'll tell you it was a great show. I thought it would be a good show, but it proved to be excellent. Especially, live and let die... definite great song to pick for that medley of tunes. I thought he should have stayed on a little longer :)

Sir Paul McCartney is a respected musician. I've been a Beatles fan since I was 8 (I'm 19 now). I know people say that's boring and old school, but today I believe music standards have gone very low and many don't appreciate REAL CLASSIC ROCK MUSIC.
