Jet Li's New Movie: Rogue

Jet Li just finished telling us he wasn't making any more martial arts movies, but thankfully this appears not to be true.. he starts filming this month in Vancouver on a new one named "Rogue" with Jason Statham. The details from Mark Pollard:

Li will play the title character, an assassin who has caused a bloody crime war between rival Asian mobs. Statham plays an FBI agent determined to bring down the killer after his partner is murdered.

Lionsgate is betting big on this title due to the popularity of both stars internationally. It's being groomed for a major presence at the Berlin Film Festival in February of 2007. Studio president Nick Meyer has also suggested the film could spawn a franchise.

Rogue will be helmed by music video director Philip G. Arwell from a script by Lee Anthony Smith and Gregory J. Bradley. Producing along with Christopher Petzel and Jim Thompso is Steve Chasman, who has previously worked on all of Jet Li's French-made films to date, as well as Transporter and its sequel, both starring Statham. Corey Yuen, who has worked extensively with both stars in recent years is attached to choreograph the action.

New "Nacho Libre" Trailers

from imageyenation:

Basically what you have here is a sneak preview of a series of behind the scenes video set-diaries from Jack Black about his experience making 'Nacho Libre.' There's a lot of footage of him prancing around in tights and a scene of him getting his chest waxed ( screen-cap above ) and some stuff telling you that the video diaries will be available from the iTunes and Quicktime sites.
