usually rap isn't my type of music but i've been following Em since the beginning when he first released his rhyming. I agree with Jim a bit on this one, slowly selling out to the pop and sometimes even straight up trying singing. I mean, it's all good that he's trying new stuff and all but I just feel at times, his singing is strained and he should just leave that up to the others. Encore was too slick and studio-ized and I personally prefer his tracks off MM *shrug* But off Curtain Call, I forgive him just for doing "When I'm Gone"..sure he's sort of singing, but it's shows a more human side of him that I can relate to..something between Toy Soldiers and Mockingbird (which i found a bit too sappy...)

Are most of yall serious? "Fack" has to be one of the most idiotic songs ever made. "When I'm Gone" is decent, nothing special. He fell off after the 8 Mile soundtrack. His lyrics used to be so complex in his early days. Now they are just below average. I don't think he is even trying anymore.

I really enjoy the curtain call album by Eminem and I think he made some good choices for what song he put on the album. I got the Marshall Mathers LP when it first came out and that was the first time I had ever listened to rap and now I love rap and I love Eminem and I think that everyone sould go out and but the Curtain Call album if you dont have a copy becaoue it is a really great album to have. It is one of his bet albums I think.
