why aint lil kim or junior mafia on the album this is a disgrace biggie proberly would not want to collaborate with half of these people but that theif puff shitty is pulling the strings. biggie should haunt him.

Posted by: daniel at November 18, 2005 8:00 AM

I have been waiting for a cd like this for a long time. yes it's a shame that lil' kim and junior mafia is not on this album but thats just what people expect. This cd is a tribute cd, seeing all of these artist come to collaborate with each other to pay respects to one of the greatest rappers who ever lived is astounding. I give credit to puff for never letting us forget about BIG and his influence in the rap scene.

Posted by: markus at November 18, 2005 1:28 PM

I can not believe there is not one verse on this album that we have not heard on a previous album...although i do like some of the new beats I was thirsty for someting new...BIG was the best storyteller ever. So you are telling me that Biggie could hear a beat step up to the mic and just flow but no one has any material we have not heard before. I do not buy it. Puff is holding out...

Posted by: Ummaguma15 at November 18, 2005 5:03 PM

R.I.P. B.I.G.!!!! GOD BLESS THE DEAD!!! YOU ARE TRULY WHAT THE GAMES BEEN MISSING!!!

Posted by: Trick E. Slim at November 19, 2005 8:16 PM

This "latest word" is bull. The cd is killer, some songs aren't, but you find a cd that you can't say that about. To the guy who said Biggie wouldn't collab with half these people, what do you know, Biggie wasn't a player hater, he had respect for people who respected him and they are giving him mad respect, everybody loved Biggie.

Posted by: Jahorse at November 21, 2005 5:31 PM

This album is more about money and commercialism, and less about Biggie Smalls. Come to think about it, that's what Biggie was about too, so who cares?

Posted by: Mr. Vincient at November 23, 2005 12:39 PM

yo i woulda really liked to see a collab with gorrilla black.

Posted by: outlaw at November 24, 2005 11:00 AM

Can Yall see whats going on...Bad Boy is dieing and Puff need something to come out that camp.. so he go and do what he does best ..say something with BIG.. If the man loved him he wouldnt be making money off of him he would give his Kids or his mom the money to keep his name alive in a better way. Dont get it mixed up I like Puff. But he has about 12 artist and not one of them are there from when the camp started . Think about it

Posted by: Tommy at November 29, 2005 9:15 AM

Biggie is the greatest rapper ever to have lived so this duets album is going to sell. puffy just wants big not to be forgotten... and this cd is the perfect way to go out because it has a lot of known rappers

Posted by: jim at December 1, 2005 10:31 AM

yo...i agree with the guy who said puff is holding out..i for one have tracks from biggie that weren't one his last three albums so i think diddy could have done better than making a duets album, i know he could have released another solo album from from big.....anyways something from big is long overdue so i guess its aayit.

Posted by: perez at December 1, 2005 11:19 AM

I already heard most of the cd and to be honest it's pretty good for a cd that just has most of his old tracks to fill in lyrics for some of the songs. And there are a few unreleased tracks like the one with 2pac who also has an unreleased verse on the track.

Posted by: d_boi_r at December 4, 2005 7:34 PM

siick cd....bigg shouldd be rememberedd alwayss....he was more than a rapper...he was a story teller ....good jobb diddy for holdin' it out for bigg man.....diddy is keepin' big's namee aliveee and i givee himmm maad respectt....paeceee

Posted by: Biggiee at December 4, 2005 9:56 PM

I FEEL YALL THINKIN PUFF HOLDIN OUT ON SOME UNRELEASED SHIT BUT I WORKED ON THE ALBUM AND THERE AINT SHIT LEFT UNRELEASED WE WENT THROUGH EVERYTHING MAN....I WISH WE COULD HAVE FOUND SOME UNRELEASED SHIT BUT ITS A WRAP.....WE GOTTA REMEMBER BIG OFF WHAT WE ALREADY HEARD!!!

Posted by: GHOST at December 6, 2005 5:49 AM

ai'ght, so far the only song that i have heard is "nasty girl", the song is wack, it could have definitely been better, but just like almost all albums out there, there are only going to be a few good songs to be remembered of them, but word to motha Biggie Smalls is without question one of the best rappers to ever put it down,

Posted by: djfredo at December 6, 2005 6:19 AM

WHY R YALL BITCHING THIS IS THA NEW SCOO SHOWING A LEGEND RESPECT AND HONORZ YALL NEED TO LOOK PAST THA BEEF BULLSHIT AND ENJOY HIP HOP MUZIK ....RIP BIG N PAC

Posted by: TONY at December 6, 2005 7:27 PM

aside from puff lying and D4L is sadly at the top of the charts... This CD brings a essence to hip hop that is needed. True, BIG probably wouldn't collab with any of these artist... but before Eminem droped Stan.. people never expected him to do a record with Dido. Lil'Kim and Junior Mafia have there own problems to deal with. Most of all, if Junior Mafia really respected the situation... You can set aside difference (including Lil'Kim) and finish what BIG started.

Posted by: eyedream at December 8, 2005 1:48 AM

Can't wait for it to drop down under! But yo. since nas and jay has squashed things up... i think this album release woulda been the best time to put three of the most illest MCs together in one track. Show em who really is the best... 'biggie, jay-z and nas..'

Posted by: DJ Ed (sydney,Aust.) at December 8, 2005 5:46 AM

The cd is ok, but, Living The Life is my favorite song so far. Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dre and maybe some others should be on this. I can't stand Jay-Z.

Posted by: Si Laaa at December 8, 2005 12:08 PM

totally agree wit the guy who sed nas jigga n big poppa shuda bin on a track together ... but that being sed most of the trackz here are not of the style that biggie would do .. BUT people need 2 realise itz jus a tribute album for hiphop lovers to the undisputed king .. n itz also a lil sumtin for the younginz that dont noe much about biggie n this album will giv them a chance 2 connect hiphop today with hiphop bak in the day. we all noe puffy makez more than enuff wit his sean john fashion line so stop focusing on things that hav nothing to do with the music itself .. take it for what it is and give the attention where itz deserved .. R.I.P big poppa

Posted by: jr gong at December 8, 2005 5:46 PM

yo i herd bout 7 tunes on this album most of em are boom! spit your game w/ twista & krayzie bone is a tunee...and the one with jayZ is amazing, y y'all hating on jigga for?? The 2pac and nas song dnt really wrk well tho...nasty girl with nelly and jagged edge is boom, diddy shouldnt ever rap tho!! The bob marley collab' dnt really wrk aswel, its too short for a song! Other songs r ok wanna hear the rest tho..im curious to see how the collab' with KoRn goes!! i think they shouldve added more rappers in...eminem, dre, even rakim! neway this is gna be sum gd shit from the legend himself...the greatest rapper ever?? maybe...

Posted by: sanj at December 8, 2005 7:25 PM

I think Puff Daddy just got a one way ticket to hell for this corrupt peice of sh*%, he's dead he left his legacy with all his albums he made when he was alive. No one will ever make his songs any better than he did himself. I started watching the video "Nasty Girl" until I seen Usher and Pharrell on there and turned the channel, if you want to make a tribute, MAKE A NEW SONG!!! Don't get rich off dead peoples lyrics!! It's not your song. Just because you made a new beat in the background doesn't make you an artist DICK!

Posted by: jd.calgary.ab.ca at December 9, 2005 1:46 PM

Posted by: doctor at December 11, 2005 12:47 AM

fuck this drama over whether its right to mk the cd or not, or whatever. Just enjoy the music, fresh beats, BIG, 2pac, nas, and a shit loads of other great artists. So far i've heard Living the Life, Hustler's Story, Nasty Girl, Livin in Pain, and Spit ur Game and i cant believe ppl are complaining about the songs being wack. We're Celebrating the legacy of BIG, not tryin to recreate what another BIG would sound like if he was alive. just stfu and smile

Posted by: unknown at December 11, 2005 11:54 PM

stright up this cd is bull shit. this cd is just a fucking chopped mixtape with biggies name/lyrics on it. This album is not about paying respects to b.i.g this cd just a next sceem that p.diddy came up with to make some more money off of b.i.g.s name and lyrics, this whole cds just like that one song 50 cent made with bigs NIGGAZ lyrics. Stright fake shit.
IF they really wanted to pay respect to b.i.g they should have just re-released B.I.Gs OG Albums and just give this cd away for free with the purchase of B.I.G.s real Albums.
But even a better idea if they wanted to pay there respects to B.I.G they should have had tracks with people that actually worked with big in the past, like Jadakiss, Ma$e, junior mafia, Lil kim Etc.
For real, and why they hell is Jay-Z on this cd, yo that man talks all this shit hows hes better then b.i.g. Come on now even Korns on this album too, get outa here, if b.i.g was still around he wouldnt even think twice about doing calabos with half of these mans on this album.
Also none of these beats dont have the biggie sound to them...if your a real/tru fan of bigs work you can tell. thats all i gotta say
R.I.P B.I.G

now ive heard only 10min of the album so far.. but i gotta tell ya it nearly brought a tear to my eye.. it kinda made me wanna believe he was still here. As far as im concerned.. best rapper of all time. who gives a fuck if puff is doin it for money or not?! I dont, its just so good to hear a track with biggie on it... Id be so happy to hear it in the charts.. I hope puff give biggies mom some money. I hear all these fuckin weak ass rappers today..makes me sick.. bring back BIGGIE!!! we wont forget you!

Posted by: heath at December 12, 2005 10:34 AM

yo i heard this album n i think it sounds pretty good. biggie is a sick rapper n his legacy will live on for a long time. Nasty girl is a quality tune and so is livin in pain with 2pac. Bigie is one of the greatest rappers of all time but the greatest one of em all is pac.. hes the truest one out the lot n will live on FOREVER!!!! r.i.p pac n big

Would everyone calm down. Biggie was the greatest. If n e one doubts that, then you need to listen to three tracks. "I Got A Story To Tell", "Respect" and "Mister Cee 1992 Freestyle". This new album gets my vote, up there with Born Again (December 7, 1999) Puff is holdin out on high quality biggie material though, he know his shit dont sell, so one last album 2010?? Any way, best tune on Duets Album is "Ultimate Rush - Biggie & Missy". Using various Biggie track lyrics neatly laced over a crisp'n'juicy beat, with Missy' helpin the lyrical transitions between varaied tracks. Platiunm Single.

so lets all kick back and enjoy .

Posted by: lanre at December 13, 2005 1:09 PM

Me personally I think Diddy should have not made another attempt to sell Biggie's material, for heaven sake the man is dead, all this unrealease material if Big was alive he would not say any of this, too outdated, the only people in Big's life that should benefit from his death are his kids and Ms. Wallace period. lil'kim and Junior Mafia them are bumbs anyway they don't need to be on it, it sounds ok , but at the end of the day its not what Biggie would have said in this time and era.

All i want to say is B.I.G(Christopher Wallace, frank white)would of loved to of had you still had to around,Imagine the level hip hop would of been.YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE GREATEST NO MATTER HOW THE JUDGE YOU WE ALWAYS GONNA LOVE YOU.FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW THAT LINE,L.O.X TRIBUTE TO B.I.G.FINALLY FOR THOSE WHO DON`T KNOW B.I.G = Business Instead of Games.

Posted by: G-boy at December 13, 2005 3:45 PM

To the all the morons who take the time to praise BIG like he was actually here, please shut your mouth... the man is friggin' dead. He's not reading this crap, and even if he was still alive, do you think he would waste his time reading this sordid collection of grammaticaly embarrasing love-notes written by a bunch of ignorant, 15 year olds? These juvenile comments only relinquish Biggie's credibility. Sure, he was great, but this album is undeniably not about him, it's about money. The reason it's a duet album (duet means a performance by two people, so the title is not exactly accurate,) is because the producers tried to strectch his remaining recordings as far as possible. If this album featured only Biggie, it would have about eight, maybe nine tracks. The rest is just filler: popular hip-hop artists used to attract a larger market. Many of the choruses weren't even originally intended to be choruses; they're just samples cleverly superimposed on the track to sound more authentic. True fans will realize that if this was an actual Biggie project, the end result would have been far different than "The Final Chapter." By the way, this is not the final chapter. There are still some unreleased tracks, live recordings, and other material that will be compiled together in a couple years for a "Greatest Hits/Anthology" type package. If Biggie were around to see this record released, I doubt he'd be impressed.

Posted by: R.J. at December 13, 2005 5:21 PM

Why the fuck aren't any of the fuck LOX on the album, them, Lil Kim and Junior Mafia should have benn the first people Puffy got to be on this shit

Books Instead of Guns

Peg City Represent..

Posted by: Killa KaM at December 15, 2005 12:44 AM

im not one for posting on this kind of thing but after reading some of these comments i feel someone has to talk a bit of sense, firstly if anyone has the cd then they havent paid for it therefore have no right to bitch about puffy makin money blah blah cos u aint paid for shit so just be gratefull that you are getting what is essentially a B.I.G mixtape with an extremely high standard of production for free. Is it a fitting tribute to one of the G.O.A.T who knows, in my opinion the most fitting tribute would have been to leave it at life after death but it was a bit late for that wasnt it.

again the hating on diddy, im not a fan,i think he would eat his own young but at the end of the day hes a business man and "the rap game" is all about business and "gettin that money" so until people stop buyin G-UNIT records and start buyin hip-hop with a little more substance then this is what your gonna get people.

Big up to the guy who posted before me, if ever there was any doubt that "books" are in fact required before "guns" it was certainly clear following his "diCracing my man" comment.

Hope it was intentional irony or at least a typo.........

Posted by: THE NAKED AVENGER at December 15, 2005 6:33 AM

Listening to all this comments I had to address some of them. To the people who are saying Puffy is just about making money off Big is bull and you don't know what you talkin about. Biggie mom is working closely with Puffy on this cd and she has openly said so on Hot 97. So Stop spreading lies! (and Puffy just gave the Lox back there publishings. What CEO of a big record company would do that)? I've heard all but one or two tracks on the cd and I liked it. I don't understand what all the bitching is about? If Puffy is holding out on some unrelease tracks then good. Most of this money is going to take care of Biggie kids anyway. Puffy do your thing. Be a business man and make the money off this cd and drop another cd later and make money off that to. You said you would take care of his moms and kids and I see your doing that. Do you thing! All you people out there bitching for no reason. Still tryin to beef up the east and west shit from back in the day. Malcom X had a change of heart but your tellin me Biggie wouldn't? Nas and Jay Z smashed there beef but Biggie wouldn't have? Haters keep shit going and going and going....Hey Biggie we love you!

I have an previously unreleased biggie tape that I got in Europe when i was in college 8 years ago. Most people haven't heard of it, it's called "If ya only knew" and contains the title track, as well as a "juicy" demo, with different music and slightly different lyrics. Here is a portion of the lyrics from this tape. I believe it alludes to the fact that he was either homosexual or at least bisexual. I'm not sure how critics have interpretted this song, but here it is. I know some people won't believe this, so go find out for selves as I did. As for the rest of us, here are the ryhmes from this (thankfully) forgotten tape. Aparently this was released before he signed on to Bad Boy:

"If you only knew"

"If you only knew, boo,
What biggie was doing when you were young, then you'd probably keep a gun too,
When days were blue for the crew,
and we wanted to cheer up,
got blunted and beered up,
Got so messed that the stress dissipated,
Girls left the crib, while the mens congregated,
Did things that got N****S burned in the bible, not the kinda trip that ya'd brag to ya rival,
The S**T so off, felt like ya eatin' from a trough, but us swine thought it fine, to experiment like two times,
Got close to the click, like ya can't even follow, Can't regret what's been done, cuz a N***A likes his fun, like a burger likes the bun, straight true hit and run,
Behind me lies the truth that ya neven even thought, plus this mix tape that ya never even bought,
If the pack only knew what I didin the backroom, filled with more dirt than hoover in a vaccuum, F**K slangin' pot, Biggie Smalls slangs the stuff ta make ya teeth rot, Brooklyn's meth king, Smalls orders ryhmes that ya know are gonna keep hot, speakin' of hot, that's how i liked down in B.K., sellin' white crocodiles, with a secret life style, if ya only knew the nasty juice we spread between my and my M*********G boys,
you wouldn't buy this tape to keep Notorious tight employed, true,
N***A, if ya only knew

to all you that have said that this album was just to make money
DUH!!!!!!!!!
What album isnt Just about everything mainstream is just to make money. now if you want to music that isnt ment to make money you have to listen to underground music
and to those that have said that they want to hear "new Biggie stuff" its kinda hard to make songs when you are DEAD
he may have a line hear or there but think about it do you really want Puff to TRY to put together a Biggie song i definitetly know i dont
now you cannot say that this album is not better than most other albums out now and there are some good songs on it
the only song where i wouldnt picture Biggie doing is the duet with KORN
and those of you who have said like lil bitches "why aint lil kim on it" BECAUSE SHE SUCKS (no pun intended) have you heard the naked truth I Have no idea how the hell that album got five mics This rating just made a mockery of all the other five mic albums like Ready The Naked Truth was 2.5 mics at best and that is a very generous rating this just further proves the corruption of the magazine

80% of the tunes are depressingly boring... That's some disapointing shit. Is it what Poof DD's doing with his money when he's not buying fur and diamonds to show off like fuckin' Rockafella?? Producing bland heartless shit like that???? fucking waste of studio time... an insult to true hiphop lovers and Biggiez fan. Aww shit!! anyway hiphop needs to die to be able to renew itself.

This albums rocks. The person who said biggie would not work with half these people, what do you know? Anyway, I'm glad lil kim was not on this album because she and the mafia was all over his last one. Anyway at least Foxy made it on this album who is far better than Kim anyway. Those two should squash their beef like nas and jay have. great album

BIG would have never done a track with juelz santana !! Overall I give the album a 7 out of 10 and only cuz producers took a great rapper’s music and put it over the crap-ass crunk beats of today with weak featured MCs who have no skill whatsoever...BIG’s mom, Ms. Wallace was right..too many ppl try to use BIG’s name just to make more sales...RIP Chris..and as for 50 cent..G-UNOOOOOTT !!!

The CD's Aight And Ermmm In The Song "Living The Life" Is Snoop Dogg dissin Game On His Verse?

Posted by: AJ at December 17, 2005 7:11 AM

Too much drama... 2Pac, Biggie and Nas are the greatest ever... and I would listen to there lyrics even if they were mixed with Brittney Spears... Only Biggie himself can say who he would work with and since his gone... we gat enjoy what he left us... his lyrics... BIG the storyteller, Nas the poetic and 2Pac the realist nigga... put them together and you have THE most complete MC...

Posted by: Alex at December 21, 2005 4:19 PM

you are all fucking idiots. first off, there is still unreleased biggie shit i have at least 10 songs that have never been put out. secondly the track with pac in it is not an unreleased song, it is just a remix of "house of pain" which is a song pac and biggie did together. same exact raps just different beat and with nas in it. thirdly, some of these songs suck ass, i love biggie, but dont just remix shit and make it sound horrible.

R.I.P. Pac, Biggie, Big L, Big Pun

Posted by: Jeremy at December 21, 2005 9:45 PM

Yo look man biggie is the greatest rapper to ever live no one can compare to biggie not nas, jigga or none of those gay rappers....i was rerading some of this commen and i read that Junior Mafia, Mase, Jada, Lil kim and etc should've of een in the Album but first of all Junior Mafia doesn't like puffy and they probably wouldnt of done it if puffy asked them and lil kim she sucks her music is wahck and yeah and to all you fukin playa haters stop hating u fuckin pussys...you bitches donmt know shit about rap and stop hatin on the greatest rapper to ever live BIG (RIP)....Anyways Big doesn't get offended when u call him fat man that guy use to rap about how fat he was and at one point he made the word ugly seem beatiful...

Posted by: Ace aka michael b at December 24, 2005 7:09 PM

Yo, I agree with the many people that say to hear Biggie on a track after all this time is a blessing. Puffy is a genuius to match Biggies' on and off tempo to some hot beats. The production is tight. I listened to track 10 stright without any skips...only one I didn't like to much is Eminems' joint with biggie, but the rest, the track "Living the life." that's fire, this album is delicious to the ears...Love hearing B-I spitting, even if some of the lyrics sound dated as he is talking about Maxima's and VCR's LOL!!! Biggie from'94 sounds better than %95 of what's out today, now that's saying something. Stop hatin on Diddy. He worked with what he had, and do yall really think he made a ton of money with over 30 different artists on this colabo? C'mon yall. One word U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E!!!

Posted by: Shawn Adger at December 25, 2005 11:03 AM

I actually like B.i.g songz but I think dat 2pac should have more attention den B.i.g cause he was greater he was da realest and in his vidoes he dont got nelly, usher and Pharrel,And i Think dats some weak ass shit,so fuk p.diddy and M.O.P and Bad boy records,(Pac wordz)

Posted by: jazz at December 25, 2005 3:55 PM

y'all need to stop getting into the techinical bullshit and just take life ez, enjoy tha album uno, theres gonna be a time when theres no more biggy or no more pac choonz that we ain't heard already, even if most of this album is from past tracks + tapes, who cares, i wud still listen to it in spite of this because its no-tor-ious,
biggy iz a legend, pac iz a legend, rip to all our fallen soldiers.

Most of you all should stop hating. I have issuses with about five cuts on the album, but for the most part it is enjoyable. If I were Puffy/Diddy I would have been smart and just released: Hold ya Head, living the life, Living in Pain, Nasty Girl, Mi Casa, and Hustlers story. Maybe one or two others, Everything else could wait for individual solo albums. One more thing, The FIRST track on the album would have been HOT if BIGGIE was on it.

Posted by: Makeithot at December 27, 2005 10:57 AM

i really loved this album big is hot 2pac is hot they both are the greatest rappers i love them both i dont care what know body say i dont judge i love both of there music as i type this in listing to a track that biggie and 2pac made togather all ya niggas need to stop bitching and complaning and just shut the fuck up ok im only thirteen i can sing and dance but you know what i dance to biggie alright i dont care if he is dead diddy do what you do keep biggie a live the beast way you can man peace out love sharice

Posted by: DC at December 28, 2005 12:34 AM

Yo i do think biggie is one of the best rapper but im sorry to say this CD is wack. The beats, the collabs are all wack. Sorry guys coming from a dj's prespective there's no originality with this tracks. Let Biggie rest in peace. This previously unreleased track are tracks that biggie probably considered not good enough to go to the airwaves. Its like any artist when we create music we do the trial and error and put out only the best. If I was to produce this final chapter CD I would have put original beats, original lyrics from all this artist talking about how biggie is one of the best rapper that live.(Not a duet) but just all orginal music. But for some people im sure they like this collabs and im not saying diddy is wack , i think he is great producer but he should have made it all original tracks. Peace !!!

Posted by: dj sketch at December 28, 2005 11:13 AM

Agh, P-Shitty did an alriht job with the album, you can hate all you want. But 2pac was the greatest rapper of all time, and BigL was the greatest lyricist. What!?

Posted by: matt at December 28, 2005 11:45 AM

And none of you can post shit until you've lost someone close to you. P-Shitty is just tryin to keep the memory alive, and yes of course he wants to make money thats his fuckin job.

Im not hating , im just giving my honest review.

some of you peeps are sick in the head man. how can u b dissin biggy like that even if you dont like him at least show some respect for the dead. i bet none of you can spit lyrics like him and i'd like to hear ya try. so cut the bullshit, listen 2 the music and chill.
respect to puff he's made more money than most of you could eva wish for!

PEACE

Posted by: jdbizz at December 29, 2005 8:59 AM

Yo I agree with all of u that BIGGIE is one of the best rapper EVER . All Im saying is that THE FINAL CHAPTER CD could have been done a lot better by making the beats, lyrics etc all original.(All from this artist in the CD) Kinda like a tribute to the KING OF NEW YORK ( BIGGIE SMALL ) If BIGGIE was alive he would be creating the most enuvative beats and lyrics to his FINAL CHAPTER CD. Get my point !!!.RIP Biggie !!!Peace

Posted by: djsketch at December 29, 2005 10:25 AM

The album is warm..almost HOT, I am confused why P-diddy/puffy/duffy bag would make a duets and not feature BIGGIE as a Solo artist????? Earth to puffy/suffy/buffy... Biggie is/was the BEST. All in All the album was refreshing to the ears....RIP B.I.G.

Posted by: makeithot at December 29, 2005 10:40 AM

All you Biggie haters out there have no hip hop knowledge at all. Period. B.I.G. was and still is the baddest M.C. to ever pickup a mic. The fat man licked off lyrics with a flow that noone can match. 2Pac was good, but he was no Biggie, and he knew it. That's why he hated him - bottom line bitches.
Puff is a nerd, and he should have never touched a mic, but he's payin respect to his friend.
So stop being fuckin nerds. You don't know shit. You probably listen to Jermaine Dupri and think he's the shit. Dinks.
This album is tight. Some of the tracks are wack, I'll give you that, and I wish their were some unreleased shit on there, but still - B.I.G. is the man.
Also, Gay-Z is nowhere near the M.C. that Biggie was or Nas is. And Nas proved it when he ate him alive with Ether. Gay-Z is an overrated nerd who works with losers like JaRule and Dupri.
Eat that dinks.

I mean not disrespect by calling it WARM. It has some nice cuts, but cum on do you think BIGGIE would have made a album with all these other rappers and not Lil Kim?...Jr, MAfia...I call it warm because IT IS. It's reminds me of the MICHAEL JACKSON "WE ARE THE WORLD"! I AM SURPRISED PUFFY/DIDDY didn't ask me to be on it....

Posted by: makeithot at December 29, 2005 12:20 PM

alright, a couple of words for the lost children. while puff has been producing garbage for a while now and is blatantly attempting to capitalize from this album, it remains as a tribute to a man who has held the thrown of NY since conception. so that nothing is misinterpreted regarding this thesis, those that read this should know that this writer is not biased. i live in the biggest little city, have for my whole life, and have been swallowing hip-hop since i was a child. i hold no bias whatsoever regarding this production. i think we all can agree that there were some mediocre at best, lackluster performances on this album that the world would have been better of without. it is saddening that the monopoly that is the music industry monster is enjoying fatter pockets due to this release, but all must realize that that is the way it is, it is absolutley unavoidable. however, if the new generation of kids that breath this life could simply sit back and ingest what has been and always been hope for lost souls through this rough art we call hip-hop culture, we could look past all the half-minded, regurgitated, white american pop-culture reviews that are poorly submitted monthly, and appreciate the legacy that is Notorious B.I.G. Past all this corporate shit and dying labels, we should know that even though some view this as a complete disgrace to one of the illest spitters to have ever walked. now go rock headphones and experience hip-hop. fuck mainstream, fuck undeground, lets all get balanced in good music devoid of propaganda.

peace, love. get balanced

BIG is and will always be the greatest of all time and the fact that anyone is dissing him, diddy, or the album is disgraceful. The whole album is good except for "Nasty Girl" and the song with KoRn. Lil' Kim and Junior Mafia shouldn't have been on the album either, they are washed up and would have just put out some bad verses. If anyone was left out that could have possibly been brought in, it was Ma$e. If he had never left when he did then we wouldn't be talkin about how diddiy is doing this for money because Bad Boy would be up there with everyone else. Anyone dissing on Jay shouldn't have a word on anything hip hop. And by the way, there was a song with three of the greatese of all time on it, it was "Living in Pain" with BIG Nas and Tupac. The best song was definitely "Whatchu Want" featuring Jay-Z. The song with the Clipse was tight too. This whole CD was a breath of fresh air to a hip hop world that has very little going for it besides bad songs and artists who rap about nothing and have no lyrical skill at all. There are very few out there who are still rappers with a message and skills on the mic (Ludacris, Lil' Wayne, Eminem, etc.)

Look, yall can argue about biggie and 2pac all day, personally i reckon biggie is betta but who cares. they died, LET THEM REST IN PEACE. Ppl shouldn't be tryin to make remixes outta of their shit cause no one knows wat those 2 rappers wanted to do, so let it be and let them RIP. 2 of the best rappers had beef, this wat happens when u take shit too seriously.

Lifes not long so take it easy, they are recognized all over tha world and thaz wats important. They both did wat they wanted to do and they did it sucessfully. Like i said let the two rappers REST IN PEACE.

its a good album not the best biggie album's what sucks in it is that puffy was so blind n let all the west coast rappers that hated biggie on this album when they didnt really care about biggie all they wanted was to get on this album n say yeah i was on that biggie album 2 promote themselves but its a good album n every1 knows biggie was the greatest rapper in the world 18 million records sold on life after death..shit not even DMX can do that n he has 6 albums n only sold 20 mill sold all together RIP biggie RIP pac

Stop buyin this shit!!What happens now with big's and pac's works is a disgrace. Motherfuckers like puffy are making money on big's and pac's swet and blood. And they're sayin they're keeping the legacy alive...fuck off bitch!. The legacy doesn't need to be kept alive, it just does. And for sure this is not keeping a legacy alive. I don't care if it is the hottest beat or new rapper ever..if it wasn't made like that, don't change it. Put yourself in biggie's or pac's place. Would you like this? Would you like your songs to be changed and sold for the benefits of another? I know i wouldn't. And i think that any normal person would be extreemely pissed. I don't know how this cannot affect one, and i don't know how someone can sit back and enjoy it (like someone posted). How the fuck can they record 'Go em' and 'G-unit in the house' and shit, and put it on a 2pac album? WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT? What has nelly got to do with big or eminem with pac? I can't sit back and enjoy this crap. Why is it so hard not to re-record any song? It's just for the money people...wake up. 2pac and biggie will remain in history not with the albums made after their deaths by this bitches, but prior to that.. that's for sure. And if you really want to listen pac or biggie, take that songs. Only that songs that they knew they'll put on an album. If you don't like the original, it's ok...but that's what they recorded...nothing else. STOP BUYIN THIS SHIT...and an advice to those who are still arguing who is the best between pac and big...listen to both of them..they both had things to say and they did, each in his own words and style, but both with the same heart
