February 22, 2006Common "Finding Forever" AlbumCommon says his new album shall be entitled "Finding Forever," due out who knows when. Hokey title? Perhaps, but then again this is the guy who wanted to call his album "The Is-ness." Common's new album “Finding Forever” Posted by jsmooth995 at February 22, 2006 4:41 PM CommentsI love Common and Mos Def but I hope he doesn't get the acting bug like Mos and we never hear from him again. My heart still aches for the lyricism of Mos. It's like a lullabye to my soul. There is so much to be said for what they can give their fans through "their" writing. All the power to both of them but Hollywood can steal ya and you never come back the same. Look @ Em, he went Hollywood w/Eight Mile and fell off, Red and Meth, got the bug and fell off DMX you heard a sound when he fell off 50, oh 50 where can you be? Ya'll got a lot more to say that's on your mind than what we need to watch from some fabricated script. We need ya'll. Ya'll are the next Civil Right's leaders. Posted by: Licia at March 3, 2006 11:18 PM I love Common and I cannot wait until this movie comes out. I always like to see recording artist in their first film and rate them to see if they are able to stay in the game of acting or if they should just leave well enough alone. I wish him luck in his debut and hope he does well Posted by: Cris at March 17, 2006 11:54 AM Common was excellent in Block Party so was everyone else. They are all such powerful artist. Gold star for Chappell. The best concert movie I have seen since, Talkin' Head's Stop Making Sense. Posted by: Licia at March 20, 2006 11:03 PM COM should put dj premier on the album... i want to hear another 6th sense... u know what i'm sayen Posted by: Arms at June 9, 2006 5:52 PM ahh boi common i been born october 15 1993 but i been into commons music 4 a while is lyrics breaks away frum the regular rap artists hoo has no meaning to their lyrics i eencallin no names but "they see me rollin they hatin patrollin and tryin to catch me ridin dirty" dats a bunch a noise but i lukin 4ward to his new album finding forever and his line of hats i also hope his new movie is a success Posted by: jade powell at July 25, 2006 12:18 AM I can't wait until Common's new cd comes out. I was in love with his last album but a little disappointed. I mean the album was amazing but it was only 11 songs and I had to pay $15 for it. He is worth it but I'm cheap and that's more than a dollar a song. Posted by: Lonni at September 6, 2006 11:23 AM What's up Common the BE album was off the hook. I have all your Cd's and I can't wait to hear your new one. I just want to know when it's coming out. Posted by: kelcey at November 13, 2006 10:33 PM im love common and his music i been listin to his music when i was like in first and he was the one who made me appreciate hip hop so i cant wait until his new album comes out Posted by: Carlo at November 28, 2006 6:53 PM |
