May 21, 2006Thom Yorke "The Eraser" AlbumA solo album from Thom Yorke? I'm there. Ateaseweb has the latest: LA Times' Calendar Live have a story on Thom Yorke's new album The Eraser, talking with Kris Chen, senior vice president of artists & repertoire for XL Recordings: "It really did take everybody by surprise." Posted by jsmooth995 at May 21, 2006 2:27 PM CommentsWho the hell is Thom Yorke??? ...lol Posted by: chris at August 5, 2006 4:59 PM For those who are in the dark, Thom Yorke is the brilliant lead singer the amazing band, Radiohead. I have always loved Radiohead and their live shows are even better. But Thom makes the band, and his risky decicion to break away from the group for this album was a good one. The songs are edgy and misterious, but chill and the the beats are fabulous. The lyrics always facinate me (if you can figure out what he's saying. I love lyrics.com...) and the atmosphere he creates in his somgs are pure and enjoyable. Pick the album up and you will be sure to like. It may be better if you smoke a blunt first though...
