With the Mets placing Ryan Church on the disable list, they have called-up their top prospect Fernando Martinez. Martinez will start tonight's game in right field and it's believed that as long as he's on the roster he will start.

The 20 year old Fernando Martinez is a left handed hitter, and Fernando is batting .291 with a .552 slugging percentage. Good statistics for this young player!

This player Fernando Martinez a considered a top young prospect and basically a phenom, so hopes are high as he makes his major league debut! Hopefully he's too yong to be taking steroids already, and they'll keep him away from Jose Canseco's house.
