This was finally the big weekend, with Chelsea Clinton getting married in an epic affair that a vast team of wedding planners put together in Rhineback NY. The catering, entertainment and the venue were all perfection, as were the wedding rings and Chelsea's wedding dress as seen below.

Said the Clinton family: "Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends. We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family. On behalf of the newlyweds, we want to give special thanks to the people of Rhinebeck for welcoming us and to everyone for their well-wishes on this special day."

The Clintons also confirmed that Chelsea was wearing Vera Wang, and Hillary was in Oscar de la Renta, both as expected. Several hours earlier, at around 5 p.m., guests began boarding the buses at the Delamater Inn for the wedding. They were whisked down River Road to the ceremony. According to the New York Times' Caucus blog, "the caravan also included three black cars and a van that one state trooper said held Hillary Rodham Clinton." Also according to the Times, the nuptials were set to begin around 6:30 p.m.
