The money she owes is not to the government or the IRS, but to the investors on a film she was supposed to help promote, named Pledge This. The investors on the movie are going after her for the money since she failed to do any promotion.

Paris Hilton has been in trouble recently for her drug problems, as she was banned from various Las Vegas Casinos for being caught with cocaine. No word yet on whether she will go to a drug rehab clinic or get therapy or professional help for her drug addiction problems.
