Kate is more calm since she has no one to yell at. All the tension is gone. Even the kids were calmer. I think they should drop the show and let the kids grow up a little. When they are teenagers if they want give them a show without Kate and Jon. I tune in to see the kids not Kate and Jon.

I watched both shows last night and I have never seen the kids look any happier. They had a great time with their siblinds and their mother. Life is about being happy and that is what Jon and Kate are trying to do, make the kids happy. After all the struggles that they have been through, its time to let go of the past and move on. Look at all the happy memories that they will have to look back on, even through a divorce . Not many children of divorce parents can say that. I know I was one of those kids and I say I wish my parents would have thought more of what my siblings and I where going through. I applause them for thinking of the kids first, they are good parents........

I think Kate is going to go thru a real growing experience, while (it seems Jon) is digressing. With that said, I feel like the child of the divorced couple, hoping that they reunite at some point in their lives.

Hey I raised 8 kids too only had a very supportive husband. I admire Kate for what she is trying to do for the children. Hang in there lady. I am really sorry Jon chose to leave her with all of the responsibility. I do not think that was a good idea but I did not live there either and really Kate "wore the pants " all the time and Jon never ever did anything right or had any ideas that were followed, always Kates way. I think the children would be better off if they all did not have to look for the cameras all the time but I do not know how the money comes in if they are not there. I watched the new shows this past week and was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable it was. The kids were obviously having fun and Kate seemed very relaxed and peaceful. The only down side was having to see Jon for any length of time. TLC..please keep him off the show. Let's face it he doesn't seem to want much to do with his kids anyway. He makes me sick to even look at!

I think Jon is the lowest of low, maybe kate was a bit to bossy, someone had to be. Jon was not, he wanted to be the main reason life went on. Someone who could not wait until a divorce was final until he started going out I can not find any real caring feelings for him. Maybe kate should have backed off some, but maybe Jon should have been a better husband and father. He wanted out so bad I hope the attorney will nail him to the wall. He needs to be made to pay child support for those children and it should not come out of the money they have now. See what he would have left after that to party with his little whores.

I believe their problems started when they seemed to have stopped making the effort to get to church and got caught up in the public eye. I agree they are both to blame, I just wished they had tried a little harder to make things right, for their marriage and for the kids.

I watched the new shows and I enjoyed them both. I think we all should stop trying to place the blame for the break up on either partner. Kate is not a media whore. The idea of having to pay for 8 kids in college at one time boggles the mind. I think she did the only thing she could think of to accomplish that. Jon is not scum. He might not be doing what we think is right but thats his choice. He has to answer for that not us. One thing I haven't heard a thing about is their faith in God. In Kate's first book she wrote about God and how he provided for them. What happened to that? I don't think God would be very happy with them now.

I really don't think that any one should judge. It's not the only time spouses have split up, and so what if either of them are seeing other people, life goes on. I agree with how Kate decided to make money for her family. Was anyone that is pointing the finger at then going to put their eight kids thru school. I agree that Kate has been a little demeaning to Jon at times and maybe once he put his foot down is when all this started to fall apart, but I think it is know ones fault. Who wouldn't have seen this split coming??? Kate is an overbearing, bossy, mean-spirited woman who seemed to like nothing more than to treat her husband like some idiot or one of her children!

Im sorry but that little girl Maddy is a complete brat and everytime she mouths off Kate just stares at her. She needs to get up and wack her one. Kate is a Bitch supreme, and drove her husband away with all her contemptuous comments and superior attitude. Jon hung in there as long as anyone can be expected to do so. He made a real effort, and I applaud him for that. He's still sticking around for the sake of his kids, which is great, even though he clearly hates the idea of the show continuing. I feel sympathy for Jon, and absolutely none for Kate. The kids, of course, are the real victims of the overblown media frenzy and this crazy, whacked out tabloid audience that eats it up. Sure would be nice to see the public pay as much attention to the plight of veterans returning from abroad... this nation's priorities are just all screwed up.
