Brad Pitt does lots of work trying to help the earth and the environment, and now he's making news again for changing the landscape.. of his face!

Pitt has shaved off his beard, and gone back to the clean shaven look of his younger days. The actor known for many hit movies like 12 Monkeys and Mr. and Mrs Smith was sporting a grizzly beard in recent years, but on Monday the 46-year-old switched back to shaving it all off and made his first clean public appearance.

He said he was keeping the beard soimply because he was "bored", but of course a star of Pitt's magnitude influences the nation's style whenver he changes his look, and hairstylists and fashion experts were sure to take note. Brad Pitt's foray into facial fuzziness is finally over -- for now!
