Lindsay Lohan: shortened rehab

After she got an early release on her time in jail, AND an early release from a shortened rehab, another one of many scandals plaguing Lindsay Lohan may now be reaching its climax, as news comes in about Lindsay Lohan and the lawsuit against her from an LA boutique.

The ritzy Church Boutique outside Los Angeles had sued Lohan for failing to pay over $10,000 in bills, but now they are reportedly ready to settle, and move on.

Lohan is widely reported to have problems with Adderall addiction, and if she was wrongly diagnosed with ADHD that could help explain why the drug has led her to get into so much trouble.

Said one expert, misuse of the drug can cause "driving around until all hours of the morning, smoking heavily, tweeting and texting all night long." The doc adds, "They can become very impulsive." Also they "might then complain of insomnia and then take Ambien or other sleep aids to help fall asleep in a vicious cycle"

Lindsay Lohan: shortened rehab

LINDSAY LOHAN is using her time in rehab to sort out her finances - the actress has settled a lawsuit with a posh Los Angeles boutique over an unpaid bill.

The Mean Girls star was served with papers from Church Boutique outside a L.A. courthouse last month (Jul10) - minutes before she learned she'd be serving time behind bars for violating probation from a 2007 DUI arrest. In the suit, it was alleged she had failed to settle a $17, 060 (£11,374) bill for clothing, jewellery and accessories. But Lohan is cleaning up her act while in court-ordered rehab in more ways than one - she has signed a cheque for the full amount, plus extras, to pay for the goods, according to TMZ.com. The website reports the boutique has now agreed to drop the suit.
