Cat Jury Duty?

An unlucky feline in Boston has been callled ini for that taskk all humans try to avoid: Jury Duty.

Sal Esposito, the felins housemate of Guy and Anna Esposito, for the summons for jury duty after the family listed him as a pet on their last census report. They have tried to let the court know that Sal might not be able to carry out his civic responsibilities here but so far they have refused to rescind the invitation. So Anna says she may actually take the kittycat into the courthouse! I'd love to be in the jury pool on that day.

A Boston family is trying to figure out how their pet cat was summonsed for jury duty. "I said, 'Sal, what's this?' You know, I don't believe it I was shocked," said Guy Esposito, Sal's owner. Sal's owners, Guy and Anna Esposito, think they may know the source of the mix up: Sal really is a member of the family, so on the last Census form, Anna Esposito listed him under "pets...".
