Apple iPad Release More Countries

After finding a smash hit with their IPad here in America, Apple is now getting ready to invade the world, and release the netbook killer in many more countries.

Sales of the new portable computer device (or oversized iPhone as haters would say) have been much higher than even Apple expected. the iPad's design and performance have been excellentm, except for some issues with the wifi, although that is only a problem if you don't buy the 3G version. The lack of Flash compatibility is also a problem for some, though Apple continues to insist this will not be a problem in the future as Flash becomes outmoded. We'll just have to see on that.

Apple has confirmed that they will be placing their popular iPad tablet computer on sale outside the United States on May 28, nearly two months after it hit the U.S. markets. Original plans had the iPad tablet in new markets much earlier but sales in the U.S. forced Apple to delay deliveries to international markets. Apple reported that they have already sold more than one million iPad tablets in the United States and those figures could skyrocket when the wider release hits at the end of May. Apple identified Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK as the nine countries that will receive the iPad tablet with both the Wifi and the Wifi/3G versions available.
