Shoplifting Reporter!

A weather reporter in Connecticut has a cloudy forecast coming up as she has been accused of shoplifting at a local department store.

The local police department said she walked into Sears in Milford, Conn., and took a bit over $100 in merchandise. The woman, Desiree Fontaine, does the morning traffic reports for the local ABC affiliate.

She was arrested, but then was released and has to appear for a court date in July, on a charge of 6th degree larceny. I didn't know there were that many degrees! Her attorney, if she has one, will be seeking to minimize the damage caused by these charges, and will probably say it was a misunderstanding and she walked out with the goods by accident.. or at least that's what I'd say.
