Steve Carell, Sandra Bullock Join "The Abstinence Teacher"

Are you ready to see Steve Carell and Sandra Bullock together? If so, scroll down and behold for yourself, as they both step in to star in The Abstinence teacher.

Both are well qualified to teach about abstinence, after Bullock saw her husband's sex life go so horribly wrong, and Carell found fame as the 40-year-old Virgin. Bullock is more beloved than ever coming off of her Oscar victory for the Blind Side movie, and also won sympathy for the marriage troubles and divorce settlement she had to deal with after her husband cheated on her.

The new Abstinence Teacher movie is by the producers of Little Miss Sunshine, and will take a comical take on Abstinence and sex ed as it explores the life of a modern family.

Steve Carell is fresh off the weekend opening of "Dinner for Schmucks" and now Production Weekly is reporting (via The Playlist) that he may be reuniting with some of his old pals for an upcoming gig. "Little Miss Sunshine" producers Albert Berger, Ron Yerxa and Polly Johnsen are prepping an adaptation of Tom Perrotta's 2007 book "The Abstinence Teacher." It was originally announced with directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris attached to helm back in 2006, a few months after their "Sunshine" released. Now it's back with no mention of Dayton/Faris but the "Sunshine" producers on board... and high-profile talents Carell and Sandra Bullock set to star.
