Also Jon Bon Jovi has stayed in the spotlight with his acting and other endeavours. Another big star who used reality TV to regain his place was Bret Michaels, who also competedon the Apprentice as well as starring in his own show on VH1. Bret has had major health problems recently but came back strong and won people's respect even more deeply.

LL Cool J is yet another great story, who has stayed in the limelight thanks top his acting career after being one of the first crossover rap superstars in the 80s. And sadly, one could say that Michael Jackson, after his death, has had a huge resurgence in interest as well. If only he was around to see it!
