Vintage Kung Fu: The Last 10 Minutes of "Masked Avengers"

Here's the climactic fight scene from one of the classic Shaw Brothers joints, Masked Avengers. Directed by the great Chang Cheh in 1982, starring several of the "Venom Mob" including Philip Kwok a.k.a. the Lizard Venom:

Classic ish!

Yo, you ever see Sword Stained with Royal Blood? Phillip Kwok's best work. You would appreciate it.

Yeah, they come out on Celestial.

It's a lot of talking for the first half, but it's insanity when they start fighting.

It was one of the ones that never got dubbed.

You'll love it.

My Young Auntie is recommended as well.
Along with the first two fights of Cat vs. Rat.

Vilens: they are easy to find if you search "celestial shaw brothers dvds" but keep in mind they are region 3, so they don't play on most american players. You can find all-region bootlegs of them but you probably have to go to chinatown for that (if i gave any more detail I'd be snitching, lol).

B.P. - I'm glad you told me that cuz I tried to watch that one and it seemed like it was all talking (and Chang Cheh talk can get real boring lol). I definitely have My Young Auntie, didn't get Cat vs. Rat yet.

Yeah all of the "Martial World" jawns are like that.

They are adapted from some novels. Like the Brave Archer 2, 3 & 4 (Brave Archer and His Mate - with Alexander Fu-Sheng)

They talk ya head off then thrown down at the end.

But Sword Stained with Royal Blood is the best of them.
He kicks mad ass with a hairclip (Phillip Kwok).

And gives a little young dude a chance to beat him with 10 swords. Classic shit that mad heads have never seen.

I'm assuming you are up on Lar Kar Leung (Liu Chia Liang)? And that you have Heroes of the East, Legendary Weapons of China and The Invincible Pole Fighter?

If not, stop what you are doing today, and help yourself.

By the way, I got Yuen woo Ping's and Jet Li's Fearless about a month ago. Best Martial-Arts movie ever. I watch it once a week. I think I need to write a review for it on AICN.

Out.

What if Great Kahli were to challenge any Kung Fu stars in this milky way? Who can lose and not win against the big Kahli?

who wins if Jet Li fight Kahli?

Who lose if Brock lesnar beat Kung Fu li?

Who wins if Kendo nagasaki were to lose to jet li?

Who lose if Kung fu boy wins over kahli?

What about Monica vs Sundown Jones?

I bet its Kahli wins.
