"Kris Allen's up second, and he says he was "pretty worried" when the Disco Week theme was announced (considering that he was born after the fad was over). He's thinking pretty out of the box for his song choice -- he's going for Donna Summer's She Works Hard for the Money, because he likes the story it tells (not a bad reason, when you're thinking Disco Night).

He gives it a groove reminiscent of the Doobie Brothers' Long Train Runnin', and the way he sings the melody makes me think of the verses to Carly Simon's You're So Vain. But he does a great job telling the story of the song."
