Stephen Baldwin Bailout (VIDEO)

We've heard of big banks and auto manufacturers getting a bailout, but b-list actors? The actor Stephen Baldwin, not as successful as his fellow Baldwin brothers in Hollywood, but well-known now to his devotion to religion as a born-again Christian, is now in severe financial trouble, and looking for someone to bail him out.

But none of his fellow Baldwins has volunteered to help, so a church is taking it upon themselves to raise money for Stephen and give him a personal bailout.

According to the church's website: In 2002, [Baldwin] had an experience that changed his life forever. He became a Born Again Christian, giving his life to Jesus Christ. Over the next few years, he became very vocal about his faith, using his spotlight to boldly preach the gospel. However, because of his convictions it has caused him the loss of many jobs and the most recently, a highly publicized bankruptcy.

Stephen Baldwin suffered for years from drug and alcohol addiction, until his Brazilian housekeeper convinced the actor and his wife to bring Jesus into their lives. Baldwin started his own skate punk ministry (although I'm not really sure what that means), starred in a number of straight-to-DVD Christian action movies, became a cultural adviser to President Bush, and wrote a 2006 memoir about becoming a born-again Christian called The Unusual Suspect, an obvious play on the name of the one movie he's actually famous for appearing in. (Keep in mind we're talking about a guy who has starred in movies with less-than-holy names like Sex Monster and Threesome.)
