First Lady 'Let's Move' Clinic: Yummy!

President Barack Obama may have mixed reviews so far, but his First Lady has been a smash hit all the way, and her latest home run is the "Let's Move" clinic.

Her first initiative sought to get healthier meals into schools, and into communities and neighborhoods where good healthy food is not always affordable and easily available.

Now she's following that up by encouraging kids to get fit and exercise with the "Let's Move" movement. it's all a part of her mission to work against childhood obesity in America.

She said in her speech, "The truth is that lots of kids just aren't getting enough healthy foods and they're not getting enough exercise. And that's going to make it hard for them to pay attention in class, it's going to make it hard for them to keep up with their friends on the playground, and it's going to make it difficult for young kids to grow up to be the kind of strong athletes that we see here."

We're trying to get companies to provide healthier foods for you guys to eat. The second thing, we're trying to help schools like yours offer healthier meals so that you get good food at school. The third thing, we're making sure that all families can get healthy, affordable food in the communities where they live. One of the biggest problems in this country is that lots of children live in neighborhoods that don't have a supermarket at all, not a single supermarket. That means that healthy fruits and vegetables are harder to find, and we're trying to change that.
