Rush Limbaugh $11 Million

Rush Limbaugh gets lots of scorn for his right wing radio show, but also lots of praise and reward, and this month he's about to get even richer when he sells his New York home for $11 million!

He is putting his NY residency on the real estate to escape what he calls unfairly high taxes on home owners who are wealthy as he is. His condo on the upper easat side is expected to go for $11.5 million.

His luxurious condo has Fortuny upholstered walls, finely crafted marble floors, and murals by the noted artist Richard Smith. His real estate brokers expect there will be no trouble finding a buyer for this gorgeous home, annd then Rush will be free to move to whichever red state he chooses.

Limbaugh put the 10-room, 4,600 square-foot pad on the market in March for $12.95 million, promising to leave New York City - and its high-taxes on wealthy home owners - behind for good. And now he is free to flee: the property went into contract late last week with an undisclosed buyer, reports Luxist.com. Located at 86th Street and Fifth Avenue, the 20th-floor penthouse is anything but modest. In addition to the basics, the apartment features a library, four terraces, his and hers dressing rooms, a maid's room, working fireplaces, and views of Central Park, according to the Corcoran listing.
