Porky Pig Allegedly Beaten Up at Theme Park

A not-so-funny incident for a beloved cartoon character this week, as Porky Pig was attacked and beaten up at a Six Flags theme park!

An amusement park worker in a porky pig costume, a female no less, was attacked on the job by two men who punched her in the head more than a dozen timers, allegedly, before being caught and detained. And to make matters worse, believe it or not her attackers were actually fellow employees of the theme park.

This does not exactly make me eager to visit this particular theme park for my next vacation wiith the family! But maybe it was an isolated incident, and anyway I don't live near Chicago, I'm sure this never happens ad Six Flags Great Adventure up here in the Northeast/

Two Six Flags employees were ejected from the theme park after allegedly attacking a female colleague dressed as "Porky Pig." Police say 20-year-old Taras Sikalchuk and 19-year-old Dmytro Petrychenko took a photo with Porky on Monday afternoon at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, about 40 miles north of Chicago, and then punched the mascot in the head 10 to 15 times. Gurnee Police Sgt. Jon Ward says park security detained the men until police arrived.
