Jackie O and RFK Affair

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Maybe it's time to just recognize that this kind of thing happens with human beings, and not make the kind of judgements we make, especially when it's the private life of someone who's engaged in public service. Just a thought?

The long-rumored love affair between Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Robert F. Kennedy may not be considered a rumor for much longer.

C. David Heymann’s latest book, "Bobby and Jackie: A Love Story," details the four-year relationship between the two prominent Kennedys. The author, who has previously written biographies of Jackie O, John F. Kennedy Jr. and Caroline Kennedy, paints a picture of the affair with the use of personal interviews and previously unavailable reports from the Secret Service and FBI.

According to the book, Jackie and RFK connected six months after the assassination of JFK. It also claims that the married senator and father of 11 was the former first lady's one "true love."

Like who cares...why is everything brought up after everyone is dead and gone, let them lie in peace...Dead people cannot defend themselves...if you can't talk about them when their alive then don;t talk about them when their dead... You must not have much of a life

uh...when the most famous First Lady in the history of the United States has an affair with one of the most famous and charismatic Senators of the 20th Century, I think that would qualify as a human interest story.

Whether you like it or not.

Jackie sure was more lovely and smart than Marilyn Monroe, so Robert must have had better taste in women than Jack!

Perhaps when you have a cheating husband like Jack Kennedy, and an alcoholic wife like Ethel Kennedy, the two spouses, respectively, are looking for a little more than what they're getting. They look like they're in love. True love is hard to come by. More power to them. Let it be.

People have a history to take out corpses and smell them, and on this forum we have exactely those type of people, who on a very seious note dont have a life and who make other people's issues their own. In other words dont stick your nose to smell where it dosent belong. I could understand understanding history of great personalities such as Alexander the Great, Ghengis Khan, Cyrus the great and Babur the Mughul Emperor, etc etc now thats some history to talk about. Not about someone who had a steamy sexual affair.

I'm sick and disgusted at that trash literature.
America was blessed with the grace of Jackie
and the idealism of Bob Kennedy. Can't the sick people who write such nonsense think of their
children?

OMG - will it never end. Several Kennedy men have died tragically serving our country & can't we let them rest in peace! Some people just want to sell books & make money off their lives. The Kennedy Family hung together throuch it all. Yes, they made some mistakes b/c they were human just like the rest of us. Who among us is w/o sin to keep casting stones? PLEASE, let God be their judge.

So what if they had an affair. I say more power to them, especially since they had to live in the public eye. They were only human. God knows we humans are not perfect. They also are deceased, can we not let them rest in peace??

please let them rest in peace so what if they had an affair none of us are perfect somebody is going to make money from this storey and the people its about are no longer here to give their side.

Bobby was big brother, Jack's, bulldog and protector.
He probably felt the same way about Jackie.
So what if they had an affair? Jack had his share of forbidden fruits so why not Jackie?
Let's not judge them, but let them have some peace.

Not that I admire the Kennedy family....but I am disgusted by this story,,,,this book should be considered trash,,,the author just wants money,,,
Let these persons rest in peace,,,they can't defend themselves anymore.
