After several public appearances that seemed to squash the rumor that they had split up, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are taking it to the next level and striking back at the British tabloids who started the rumors of their split, and sending their lawyers to sue the "News of The World" paper in London.

Their lawyer Keith Schilling said that the paper started the story began a chain reaction that spread the falsehoods throughout the media and internet, and also that the newspaper failed to offer an apology to the couple after the falsehood of their stories was revealed.
