Dr. Conrad Murray, the infamous doctor that many blame for the death of Michael Jackson, is under more scrutiny than ever for his relationship with the music superstar as he now faces charges for involuntary manslaughter in that tragic death caused by an overdose of the drug Propofol.

Dr. Murray met Michael Jackson in 2006, and soon became a regular part of Jackson's life, providing medical assistance that some have alleged took the form of simply giving Michael whatever drugs he wanted, including many unethical prescriptions and improperly administering drugs that should not have been given. The death has been ruled a homicide, and Dr. Conrad Murray may need serious help from his attorneys to escape serious punishment.

Dr. Conrad Murray, the Houston cardiologist who was with Michael Jackson at the time of his death, is looking forward to clearing his name, the lawyer defending him said Monday. Houston attorney Ed Chernoff said Murray wasn't ready for this kind of speculation and attack and hopes to be able to talk publicly after results of the pop singer's toxicology report are completed. "He has nothing to hide," Chernoff told the Chronicle Monday. "The doctor will be proven to be innocent..."
