Bob Barker & PETA: $2.5 Million Price is Right!

Bob Barker, legendary game show host and lover of animals, is telling PETA to come on down and collect millions of dollars in charity, as he voices his support for the animal rights efforts.

The huge sum of money donated by Barker will go towards building a new Los Angeles headquarters for PETA.

PETA has long been a leader in spreading the word about animal abuse, but also has drawn constant controversy for its tactics, that many people find extreme and offensive even if they support animal rights.

Particularly offending is their consistent objectification of women, in the name of defending other species.

But many including Bob Barker still believe PETA is a force for good, and they are still gonig strong in their effort to defend all the other species that we lie with on this planet.

Bob Barker has donated $2.5 million to help the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals open a new location in Los Angeles. The retired game show host and spay and neuter champion will cut the ribbon Wednesday at the Bob Barker Building on Sunset Boulevard. PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk says Barker paid for an entire building to be renovated. The building will be home to the group's media, marketing, youth outreach and campaign departments.
