"Walking on the moon was a piece of cake," he said. "This is a challenge!"

Buzz Aldrin has done what many people consider history's rarest and most heroic act: walkting on the moon.

But as the legendary astronaut prepares to enter the world of reality tv game shows, he says that moon landing was nothing compared to his latest adventure.

The new steps Buzz Aldrin is about to take may not be on as rare a surface, but the steps themselves will be a lot more complicated, as he prepares to dance on Dancing With The Stars.

Speaking of his mental preparation for this TV dance adventure, Buzz Aldrin said "Walking on the moon was a piece of cake, this is a challenge!"

Buzz Aldrin has joked that being an astronaut is easier than appearing on Dancing With The Stars. The 80-year-old, who is paired with Ashley Costa for the competition, told People that he is nervous about performing on the show. "Walking on the moon was a piece of cake," he said. "This is a challenge!" However, Aldrin added that he is hoping his previous dancing lessons will stand him in good stead for the competition.
