Sebastian Stan: Captain America Bucky

After months of speculation about who would play Captain America in the new feature film version of this comic book classic, the scoop on who will play his sidekick Bucky didn't take long to come at all.

It's official now, the role of Bucky Barnes on the big screen will be played by Sebastian Stan, who is best known as the boyfriend of the Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester. In the story Bucky is an orphan boy who teams up with Captain America as he throws his mighty shield at all those who oppose.

The lead part of Captain America went to Chris Evans. Not bad casting, but looking at these two they seem so "all-American" in a way that seems outdated in 2010. I wish they'd gone a way from the Hollywood norm a bit more, to represent today's America. Still should be a good movie though!
