It's official: superstar actress Amy Adams just had a new addition to her family, a new baby girl!

The talented redhead gave birth to a 7 pound girl named Aviana Olea Legallo, in Los Angeles on Saturday. The healthy childbirth was a blessing for her and her husband, and she should have access to the best child care as she raised the new jewel of the family, while still getting back to her career.

Said Adams: "We'll probably find out, I thought about waiting and I just don't think that's really my personality. I've benefited a lot from taking some downtime and working on friendships and really reconnecting with my fiancé."

Amy Adams and fiancé Darren Le Gallo welcomed 7-lbs. daughter Aviana Olea Le Gallo on Saturday in Los Angeles, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively. "Mom and baby are home and doing great," says Adams's rep. "Everyone's healthy and happy." Shortly after announcing her pregnancy in December, the actress said she and Le Gallo planned to find out the sex of their baby on the way.
