Eddie Murphy got a big surprise just in time for hsi 50th birthday, as the Kids Choice Awards gave Mr. Murphy one of the biggest honors of the night!

The awards show gave Eddie Murphy the honors as Favorite Voice, for his now legendary work in the animated Shrek movie series. The award came just in time to be an early birthday present for the star of 48 Hours, Boomerang and Trading Places, as well as the lead vocalist on the classic Party All The Time with Rick James.
