Last week Hollywood was buzzing with the news that Elizabeth Taylor was getting married once again, to her younger friend and manager Jason Winters. But was this true or just yet another Hollywood rumor?

Jason Winters, who is almost thirty years younger than Taylor at age 49, also manages Janet Jackson and other stars. But according to Liz Taylor's latest official statement, she ahd Winters are actually still just friends, and she continues to be managed by him but it's going no further than that.

Said Liz Taylor. "The rumors regarding my engagement simply aren't true. Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart...one of the most wonderful men I've ever know, that's why I love him."

Turns out Dame Elizabeth Taylor isn't going to be a bride again after all. The 78-year-old screen legend has taken to her Twitter page to deny Friday's reports of her engagement to Jason Winters, 49. (PHOTOS: What engaged stars should wear on their wedding day) "The rumors regarding my engagement simply aren't true," Taylor wrote Monday. "Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart. Taylor and Winters, who recently became Janet Jackson's new manager, have appeared at numerous events together in recent years.
