Possible 9/11 Remains Found (NEWS)


Almost ten years after that tragic day of September 11th 2001, anthropologists believe they have found remains of possible 9.11 victims previously undiscovered all these years.'

And not only one person, but as any as twenty people's remains may now have been rediscovered as a team of anthropologists has been called in to sift through the constuction debris. The massive amount of debris was taken from the lower Manhattan ground zero site and has been stored in the Fresh Kills area in Staten Island.

They are now in the scientific process of verifying whether these are indeed human remains, and if they are they will then be taken for DNA testing, to try and identify them. Hopefully this can bring some small sense of closure to families who have never had their loved ones found in the aftermath of that terrible tragedy.

As many as 20 human remains may have been found by anthropologists and other experts called in to help search for and identify victims from the September 11, 2001 attacks. The New York City Medical Examiner's office said the possible human remains, which were found amid debris and excavation materials from construction sites in and around Ground Zero. Experts are sifting through the recovered debris at a sifting site set up along the Fresh Kills park land on Staten Island....
