As you can see and hear in the video below, Liza Minnelli has recorded her own version of "Single Ladies" aka "Put A Ring On It."

Liza's remake of the sassy Beyonce smash is a special request for the Sex and the City soundtrack, and should add the perfect bit of attitude to the new film. Liza Minnelli is one of Hollywood's royalty, and still lights up the screen, whether big or small. I still hope she'll get a chance to return to the Arrested Development role, though.

According to one writer at gather.com: "I like Liza and I do also like the song, 'Single Ladies' but still I just can't reconcile the two ideas in my head together. I found this music video while browsing YouTube, it's Liza Minnelli singing the song 'Single Ladies' (Put a Ring On It) in a cover version for the Sex and the City 2 movie soundtrack. There's just something disturbing and wrong with that combination! According to Entertainment Weekly, that black sequined outfit you see is something that will be worn in Sex and the City 2 as well."

The song--which instructs gentlemen to "put a ring on it"--is naturall being used in a wedding scene.
