Who Are the People That Think Hillary Clinton Should Run for President?

Are any of you here right now, reading this blog? Because I find it difficult to believe that you actually exist.

Hillary Clinton leads her Democratic rivals in the polls and in fundraising. Unfortunately, however, the New York senator is part of a failed Democratic Party establishment -- led by her husband -- that enabled the George W. Bush presidency and the Republican majorities, and all the havoc they have wreaked at home and abroad...

...She doesn't have a single memorable policy or legislative accomplishment to her name. Meanwhile, she remains behind the curve or downright incoherent on pressing issues such as the war in Iraq...

...In person, Clinton is one of the warmest politicians I've ever met, but her advisers have stripped what personality she has, hiding it from the public. Some of that may be a product of her team's legendary paranoia, somewhat understandable given the knives out for her. But what remains is a heartless, passionless machine, surrounded by the very people who ground down the activist base in the 1990s and have continued to hold the party's grassroots in utter contempt..

Kos' op-ed is being too kind. I always liked Hillary, and defended her against the strange and fervent hatred she received as first lady. But running her for President is a laughably horrible idea.

Co-fucking-sign. I am about as liberal as they come and I can't stand her. She's completely unlikable as a politician. What does she stand for? What has she done for New York? Where is her leadership on choice? On faith-based initiatives? On the war? On the economy?

Gotta say, I dont like the lady, she supports that damn war. But I'd vote for her in a party-vs-party scenario aright, thats it. Didnt vote for her or her man, but they were shoo-ins at the time anyhow, so I felt safe voting for Mickey or whoever.

She seems like a distant, cool lady, not a politician of the people, but more powered by her past.

i think that making her the democratic candidate would be a horrible decision because there is absolutely no way she would win. the voting public is not going to elect a woman any time soon. i think that in these times of neoconservativism and paranoia against terrorists, the democratic party would throwing away an oppurtunity this country can't afford to lose

The Democrats can run who they want there spinless it's there damn fault were in Iraq just as much as it is the republicans. They can't save us, both parties are worthless in my book.

I'm goin with the hip hop movement to win. I vote with my actions everyday, not at some poll station every four years.

Revolution, take it to the head.

Nonononooooo, see...this is all distraction from the puppet master himself to make us all forget three very big bad words when used together:

PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY

We got'ta keep our eyez on the prize not small frize and oust these demons before the next presidential election.

And all you republicrats please take the red pill already!

i think she should run but i don't think she should win. but at some point, someone has to break thru the glass ceiling and she's the only woman that can make some headway so that another woman, who is better suited for the job, can have a real chanced of winning someday. but yes i know its a sacrifice that we might not be able to afford right now. so maybe in another 4 years?

I think she's very smart, and she might even make a good president, but I don't want to know because she wouldn't be the most disastrous candidate the Dems could possibly run in 2008. No-one would motivate the Republican base to get our of church and in to the ballot booth than her.

That doesn't mean we need some "moderate" like Lieberman, this is not a political/policy thing. But anyone who's not a lightning rod (to b oth left and right) would be better.

who should the dems run instead?? i bet mccain gets the republican ticket & then the democrats are gonna have to run someone only SLIGHTLY left of center... if that.

hillary should have never been elected as ny senator im the first place. it just shows how if you have money anything is possible. she didn't stand up against the voting fraud that took place in ohio, and is a fraud just let the rest of them frontin liberals but real rightwing nuts in their hearts core. the fact that she is contemplating running for pres. is game to keep these sick racists republicans in the highest office. why else would someone like ruppert give her dough? f her and hte cracker husband. New yorkers are just as racists and my people are out of there mind. the fact that we would support someone not from here and not even thinking of electing some of the same decent/ethnicity is truly tragic. those from our tribe, that are in office, we dont make them paid for forsaken our needs(except for Charles Barron)for the dollars of racists big business. this is also a damn shame.poor/middleclass people need to wiseup and elected poor/middleclass people who will fight for there own and not sellout for public office.

Well in my opinion it would not matter much if she won because for decades it has been the presidents wives that have been running this country to begin with. If you people out there dont realize that there is a problem. Ontop of all that get the republicans out of office and get a democrat in there to bring back jobs to people.
