Batista defeated Randy Orton in the big Steel Cage Match. Batista is our new WWE Champion. Here's the complete match video:

Batista def. Randy Orton with a Batista Bomb to become the new WWE Champion. As soon as the bell rang on the match, Randy Orton made a break for it and started climbing. Batista proved that he can, in fact, climb a cage and caught up with him.

Orton stayed on the run for a lot of the early going in the match and kept focused on trying to leave through door, but Batista would have none of that.

At one point, Orton went to punt Batista's head, but The Animal was able to move out of the way. Orton tried to escape once again, but Batista got him. A short series later, Batista hit him with the Batista Bomb to win the WWE Championship.

He held the belt up to the camera and said, "This is for you, Ric." A nice way to pay homage to Ric Flair whom WWE wrote out of storylines for the foreseeable future last week on Raw.
