Brooklyn Decker: Mom Cried

Brooklyn Decker, as seen in the photo in the link below, is the cover girl of the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, and the 22 year old model reports that her mother is the happiest of all about it, and actually cried when she saw the photos.

Said Brooklyn: "We're all on pins and needles before the issue comes out, because the cover is something all the girls want so badly, So it's nice for my family because they don't have to stress about it anymore..." And it wasn't only the supermodel's mother that was psyched, her equally famous husband, tennis star Andy Roddick, also gushed about his girl's achievement on twitter: "so happy/proud of my wife ... the new cover for sports illustrated swimsuit issue!!!!" Roddick wrote. "unreal... so excited!!!!!!!!!!"

Brooklyn Decker has been in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue several times before, after being discovered in a local shopping mall in 2005 and scooped up by a modeling agency. Brooklyn is also known as a sports fan, and is one of the few swimsuit models who has also contributed to the Sports Illustrated while fully clothed, in an online column analyzing football news. And at the age of 22, hopefully we'll be seeing much more of her in years to come. She's already done a little TV, hopefully she'll get more time in the spotlight soon.

daily news

No one may have been more proud of Brooklyn Decker landing the cover on the prestigious Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue than the model's own family. "My mom cried," the 22-year-old beauty told People.com of her mother's reaction to the photos, which were shot in the Maldives by award-winning sports photographer Walter Iooss. "We're all on pins and needles before the issue comes out, because the cover is something all the girls want so badly," she added. "So it's nice for my family because they don't have to stress about it anymore..."
