LOL! omg this is brilliant, especially since I was just the recipient of EXACTLY this kind of suppression of dialogue about race at the hands of another blogger. She must have read this and followed it word for word.

It also works as a good way to squash discussions of sexism (I learned this a few months ago on a gaming board).

Funny....
This happened to me on this blog (check your discussion of halle berry's remarks on a UK radio show during the XMen2 promotion).

I guess even bloggers on this site can be ill-equipped to discuss topics in which they lack understanding.

Oops..I inadvertenly left out " too"....should read " too ill-equipped"

Today is the day for typos...forgot the "t" in inadvertently...no more typing today... : )

Liz, those were not this site's bloggers, those were commenters! Big difference! :) And yes, commenters pop up here with that stuff anytime I raise the issue. Check my old King Kong and LOTR posts..

What you mean there are theives out there in the music industry??? Punk ass dream stealing bitch!!!

Whewww, had to vent. That was just lousy.

In response to "s" I love my african origin unfortunately some Americans do not, which is obvious, one word "Katrina" the flood in Louisana, if you were not aware. 100's of thousands of blacks and poor people were just left ass out and still have yet to get compensated for damage done. It is important for there to be racism here because that way people feel like they are superior and can do their dirt. It is a necessary evil in America, plain and simple.

people without shelters in the south of the USA, it is sad, and I am of any heart with them, but it is a disaster caused by nature, your government, it is all the days which it destroyed people, in Africa, in Iraq, and it list is long! I hope that the louisianne will be left there, in the USA, there is of the assistance only for the rich person unfortunately, and that is unacceptable. the black people would have worn of his energy to make change that! really gather, true the value of the life does not hide in a pair of tennis shoe nike or a hamburger! you includes/understands me!you like a country which leaves you of with dimensions! me I does not include/understand travel has the exterior of the USA, thus the economic capacity of the USA will drop, and that of the other country (afric, Asia...) will increase. i hope
that you understands that I want to say in spite of my bad writing

Posted by: "s" sarah at September 4, 2006 4:18 AM

I understand you loud and clear. Except for the travel has an exterior part??? As far as blacks wearing out or getting tried trying to make a way out of no way, we are a very resilent and strong people who have been through so much throughout humanity we will survive, hey, hey. If you know what I mean.

I believe to include/understand you, that I say, it is that it is necessary to travel to Africa, because the afroamericains lost their identity.
and tourism african is weak, thus so many people go to Africa for the holidays, that will make good has the "economy" in this country. you understand!
the USA live in a kind "of autarky". open you in the other country. i hope you understand what I want to say!

Posted by: sarah at September 15, 2006 8:15 AM

I understand what you are saying. YOu are saying
that everything evolves around American culture
and not too many black/african americans take the
time to enrich the country/africa that we were originally from. I totally understand. NOt too many blacks ascribe to african culture, we've been steeped in american culture too long. I would love to travel to africa, one of these days I will. I also feel that africans do not embrace african americans too much either. so that is a barrior as well. it is all a plan to keep up separted and it has worked thus far. Have a great day.

Oops, I mean keep "us" separated.
