BLACK PEOPLE'S
FANTASY HIP HOP RUMOURS (this is the shit that would really get me excited if I heard it)

Dr. Dre has announced that he has shelved his version of Detox in response to all the wack shit that he's hearing.

The new version of Detox will not feature guys playing instruments but will incorporate all samples. Snoop Dogg, King Tee and The Alkoholiks are on the first single which will hit us by Thanksgiving.

Pete Rock and Marley Marl have come together to create an all new break beat series of records call THE NEW ULTIMATE BREAKS AND BEATS. There will be twenty-five records in the series.

For those that don't know, premium Hip Hop production is based off of samples and all of the greatest Hip Hop producers of all time (Pete Rock, Dr. Dre, Marley Marl, Beatnuts) used the original ULTIMATE BREAKS AND BEATS. It's a twenty six record set. Google it and listen to the samples.

Nas is going forward with his new album produced entirely by DJ Premier.

But we will get a full EP of The Real FIRM: Nas, AZ and Cormega Produced solely by Pete Rock, Large Professor and Primo.

KRS ONE and Kool DJ Red Alert have come clean and blasted all of the sucka new artist by saying "If you have a sucka ass album like Lupe Fiasco on some space shit without no fuckin' scratchin' on it, you corny. Start putting scratching on y'all wack ass albums."

Scott Storch was repeatedly raped to death in an alley in Bal Harbour.

In an effort to melt the cold war of words, and in the tradition of Tim Dog's FUCK COMPTON, Kool G. Rap has released a single call FUCK DOWN SOUTH and it is available only on vinyl.

The single is rumoured to attack the simplicity of the regions lyrics as well as the lack of rockin on proper beats. He's quoted as saying "I'm not a hater. But I love Hip Hop. And what these dudes is doing is not Hip Hop. Maybe after this they'll call their shit something else. Cuz it never was Hip Hop."

Staying ahead of the game and electing not to bring out a clothing line or some liquor, Madlib and MF Doom have come together to create an electronics line. With the goal of everyone being able to have a record player at home. Because "only about 2% of the quality shit is digital. There's a whole world of great music out there on 'rekkids'."

And last but not least
