Know what? This might be my new favorite hip pop song. Also TI robot voice is amazing. Posted by: danton d. at August 24, 2008 5:20 PM These lyrics are horribly wrong! Posted by: Tiff at August 25, 2008 4:56 PM man that track had alot of swagger but t.i said Posted by: marley at August 25, 2008 8:51 PM T.I. killed it. (W/Y)eezy sucked and Jay had lackluster effort once again. Beat is nothing special. What's funny though is how Jay managed to at least be somewhat average without even trying and the autotune twins couldn't even come close. Also, I'm liking this writing-down-his-lyrics T.I. There's actually some complexity in his verse which is amazing considering it's a watered-down radio single from a mainstream southern rapper. Not hating on the South but it is what it is. Overall, it'll bang in the whip and be popular amongst the radio crowd, but other than that it's a very poor track. Posted by: dune methane at August 25, 2008 9:02 PM T.I. killed it. Posted by: uluvme at August 31, 2008 10:54 PM My Opinion: Someone said that T.I was alright on this song...that he was too relaxed...really?...if you thout that was a mediocre verse then you don't listen to enough hip-hop..not pop rap...hip hop...cuz T.I.s verse was the only one to me that actually said I enjoy flowing, I respect hip hop, and have heart and swagger not to mention he rode the shit out the beat. Everyone else just went for swagger which I would say Jay was the only one besides T.I. that even came close to tackling it and even with that I think Jay needs to just chill on rhymin for a while or start rapping about real shit cuz hes got enough fucking money already...and dude is a legend trying to sound like hes 20 something just out the hood or newly rich... As for Kanye, "I know I got it first, Im christopher columbus yall just the pilgrims"- wow did he really say that...like did he say that lol not only was that line wack like basically every other line in the verse wack, and testament to his lack of heart in this verse or lack of lyrical skills to same some real shit...instead of being limited to a meaty ass rhyme scheme.. but for someone who was crying at the VMAs talking about "they don't want a black man to succeed...and george bush doesn't care about black people"- you really showed how socially conscious and committed you were to the shit you say...no respect..i dont think the verse shows any type of growth lyrically ...and for the line that everybody keeps jocking "how it feel to wake up to be the shit and the urine"- its really not that hot of a line...everyone says im the shit he just added three words..yall just not use to witty ass lyrics (study old Jay that shouldnt be too much of a stretch) i dont doubt that he hasn't but i just think that this verse didnt show any type of desire to rhyme but then again consumers nowadays will buy anything without even listening and wit the verses that Kanye, oh lord Wayne, and maybe Jay (I think his verse can ride i think I just miss old jay and I want to hear something different then "I like money)-layed down as final verses for this shows they know what type of power they hold over the american public and what they can get away with cuz i respect them all as MCs and have heard their best shit...i feel if they still had passion for hip hop(not money) they wouldnt let those half ass verses slide...yea its about money (for yall i guess) but if you know ur name is big enough why not put some thought into...some fuckin heart...that should be even more reason to do so if you "basically" already got the green light from the label do whatever you want , if you already got the fan base why not go hard? and spit some real shit like T.I. did.... Wayne needs to come off his high horse cuz his cockiness is making his verses worse and repetitive as well as the pitch corrector cuz really though how are you the best rapper alive using a machine in almost every verse trying to be a singer...hes got swag no doubt about it but the dude is not that on point lyrically..there are a thousand unsigned rappers who would lyrically hand lil waynes ass to him...real talk- do the research... and for everybody who is like "oh you crazy if you dont think this song is hot"...there is a difference between verses, the hook/sample, and the beat...The beat was catchy the drum pattern was on point and with the combination of the sample makes the song "fire" cuz it does make u wanna bop...I could do without the synths but thats me personally...And the reality is the verses were mediocre with the exception of T.I who i believe murdered it, and this is probably one of the best verses(at least mainstream) ive heard him spit...i would even say he called them out to on the mediocrity and he definitely proved his point "you kick it like me no exaggeration necessary" (when he used the filter) that was a slap in a face to wayne and kanye who did meaty ass verses using the pitch corrector... if you listen to more than mainstream hip hop...like you actually listen to shit other than lil wayne, young jeezy, piles, and soulja boy(not to say jeezy or piles or even wayne is garbage- soulja boy is a no comment- just trying to give an general idea of what people listen to)...then you can get what im saying..but if you basically listen to "pop" like "popular music" "popcorn ass music" "aka little to no depth music", "aka executives tell you what to make music" then you would be blind to the shit I wrote about and many other people on this forum elluded to...."all my verses picture perfect only spit to serve a purpose, Definition of swagger: "last thing I'm worried 'bout is what another rapper do, Now thats real

Posted by: Mr.Swaggnificent(TEAM ìll) *ßlazer Prince* at September 4, 2008 3:08 AM Wayne's swagger needs a dagger, arrogance in no excuse for lyrical ignorance. rapping is suppose to be music with depth, but when i gear weezy-cheezy i have to fret. no hating, only truth spitting, and top class music needs more researching, digging into the poetic archive, only if in the respected mainstream you wanna survive. as for Kanye and the autotune, he's beginning to be a comical cartoon, escuse the pligrims but his shit is grim, needing to go into the poetry shop and get a trim, and come fresh spitting from the soul within. Jay is lazy to the Z, and this is another poor performance for a rapper that has doen it alphabetically. Attitude, best, cutting-edge, destiny, electrifying, fortified, gridlock, hard, ingenious, jay-z, kingdom, longivity, mainstream, namely, opprotunity, progress, quagmire (from), respected, success (to), talented, unquestioned, versatile, worldwide, xpensive, yes! ZZZZZZZZZZZ. but of late, he's ill fate, not that great, needs to come with a clean slate... and the real swagger dagger, is TI with the complete definition...
