Joe Jackson Wants Allowance

Joe Jackson, patriarch of the Jackson family, and by far the least beloved of the clan, continues to seek an allowance from the estate of his son Michael, who passed away last year.

Michael, who was known to have strong negative feelings about his father (though he did express love for him), specifically and notably left his father Joe out as a beneficiary in his will, leaving the estate in the control of other family members instead. It was said he featured that Joe Jackson would misuse the money on lavish expenditures and wasteful spending. But Joe and his attorneys insist the elder Jackson is still entitled to a "maintenance allowance" that will let him continue to live comfortably in his old age. It has not yet been determined how much that would be, and whether his lawyers will succeed in getting it done.
