'24' Filming Halted, Kiefer Sick

In his role on "24" Keifer Sutherland is invincible, but in real life he is apparently quite vincible, as production of his smash hit TV show has been halted, as they cannot keep filming until he recovers from surgery for a ruptured cyst.

Sutherland is sad to be in good condition and set for a full recovery, but the operation will delay the tv show for some time. A ruptured cyst happens commonly for women when it is an ovarian cyst, but can happen to men as well. Kiefer's ruptured cyst occured near his kidney and needed immediate attention. According to his representatives, "While Kiefer Sutherland is frustrated to miss even one day of work, he and Fox decided together that it would be best to complete this minor elective procedure now as a precaution as opposed to six weeks from now when production wraps..." Here's wishing him the quickest of recoveries!
