Miss Me Yet Billboard

A new billboard in Wyoming, Minnesota had people wondering this week who is behind it, as photos spread across the internet of the billboard's cryptic message: a picture of the former President George W. Bush with the question "Miss Me Yet?"

There is no credit listed on the actual billboard and this has made it hard to ascertain who was behind it, so people were split between reading it as an attack on the current President, Obama, and taking it as a tongue in cheek jab at Bush. This afternoon though the agency who sold the billboard's ad space offered this explanation: "The Bush Miss Me Yet? billboard was paid for by a group of small business owners who feel like Washington is against them. They wish to remain anonymous. They thought it was a fun way of getting out their message." And since the initial reports it has become clearer that it was indeed put up by supporters of President Bush, who wish he was back in office.

There is a billboard along I-35 near Wyoming, Minn., with a huge photo of former president George W. Bush and this question: "Miss Me Yet?" Now, the push is on to find out who paid to have it put up. Bob says there's no readily apparent claim of ownership on the billboard, so he's heading back to the scene to see if he can find out who's behind the message. He's also got some local politicos looking into it. He'll keep us posted...
