Said Oprah about her investment in J Crew: "When I saw the first lady, even before she became the first lady, wearing J. Crew--full disclosure here--I went and bought some J. Crew stock. And that was a very good decision."

J. Crew's Creative Director Jenna Lyons--the brains behind the brand's recent makeover and enormous popularity--appeared on Oprah's 'Dream Jobs' episode on Wednesday. In this first clip, Lyons walks viewers through a day in her life, which looks every bit as enviable as you'd imagine. Starting with her closet. Lyons made a quick appearance to kick off the show, offering style tips for the masses -- pair opposite patterns and textures, wear statement jewelry, incorporate something tomboy -- and musing on Michelle Obama's penchant for the creative-casual separates, calling her "the gift that keeps on giving" with a smile. Oprah even raved about her super-comfortable J. Crew suede bootie-sandals.
