And the college football field is wide open with lots of talent competing for the biggest prize a college star can get. Quarterback Colt McCoy has been considered the favorite, but pundits believe it could still break for another top player very easily. Since Tim Tebow already got one, many are rooting for Colt to finally get his.

Texas quarterback Colt McCoy emerged last week as the favorite, but veteran voters have deemed this one of the most wide-open races in the award's 75-year history.
