Jolie & Voight Meet in Venice! (NEWS)

Are Angleina Jolie and her father Jon Voight finally ending their feud and reconnecting with each other? That is the report coming from the tabloid world, as Voight reportedly visited Jolie's family home in Venice this past weekend.

Vogiht reportedly went on a water taxi ride with Jolie, her husband Brad Pitt and some of their children, in Venice where Jolie ad PItt have a family home.

Voight and his equally famous daughter have long been estranged, with their dischord sometimes reflectd in media statements. Jolie is a well known progressivbe activist while Voight is a very outspoken right-winger, though who knows if this is the cause of their estrangement.

Here's hoping they mend those fences, and connect the grandfather with his grandkids! And make a ton of money for charity from the photos of that occasion.

After years of an estranged relationship with her father, Angelina Jolie and Jon Voight seem to be trying to mend their bond, as the whole Jolie-Pitt family was spotted in Venice, Italy this weekend. Enjoying a water taxi ride with daughter Zahara and Jon, whom Angelina has been at odds with since 2001 when he made a public statement regarding her mental health, the family seemed to be quite at ease.
