Usually when a celebrity is voted Sexiest Man Alive, he is bashful about it and sort of pretends to be humble, claiming he doesn't deserve it. But Hugh Jackman had no time for fallse humility, fully embracing the accolades and rolling with it unabashedly.

Hugh Jackman, 41 at the time, was asked who he wanted to see take over the title after his year was up, and he told People magazine he wanted to keep it for himself! The Australian hunk is more at home singing show tunes on Broadway, in his own time, but in America he has become best known as the tough as nails action hero Wolverine.

He did say though that he looks forward to passing on the title so that he won't have to work as hard to live up to that hype, and can start "being a slob again." I'm sure his definition of a "slob" will still be much fancier than I look on my best day. But props to Hugh Jackman for having a sense off humor about the whole thing!
