Kucinich Shreds Democrats, No Mercy


In a blistering interview this weekend with rawstory.com, liberal icon and Congressman Dennis Kucinich blasted and shredded his fellow Democrats for what he sees as a failure to follow through on the change they promised in Washington, as they took over with a super majority and control of the White House last year.

Kucinich said "the same entrenched interests that George Bush could not shake, this current White House is having great difficulty in shaking. One could suggest they might be more entrenched than ever." He described the kindness to big business in the bailouts, and the pandering to insurance companies during health care reform debate, as two examples of the liberals failing to be true liberals. Kucinich said his fellow Democrats could be in big trouble if they don't get their act together. He even predicted the Dems could wind up a minority in Congress after November. Hard to believe but no longer as outlandish as it would've been just a year earlier.
