Miley Cyrus: College Dropout?

Miley Cyrus has done many things to try and be a decent role model, but it looks like going to college won't be one of them..at least for now.

The country/pop/Nickelodeon superstar says she is foregoing college for now so she can focus on making the most of her career. But she doesn't rule out going to sschool in the future. Said Cyrus, "I am a firm believer that you can go back [to college] at any age you want, because my grandma went back to college at 62 years old,"

She has shown that she's ready to grow up and change as an artist with her controvesial new video "Can't Be Tamed" that shows her in a more adult look than ever seen before. According to Miley, "No one ever wants to see someone grow up. My song is clearly about breaking free and being out of a cage and being able to be truly who you are."

One less mountain to climb: Miley Cyrus will not be going to college next year. The pop singer and "Last Song" actress revealed in an interview with Q100's Bert Show that she's passing up a shot at higher education to focus on her flourishing career. Worst case scenario, she says, she'll just go back later. Her latest video features the 17-year-old in what Us Weekly reported was a $25,000 corset. It also shows the singer decked out in spandex and thigh-high boots, accompanied by the kind of avant-garde posse that usually trails Lady Gaga in her videos.
